Naples is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual events—Cars on 5th —where automotive luxury meets philanthropy. What started as a modest gathering on 3rd Street South 21 years ago has now evolved into Southwest Florida’s largest car show, stretching across 5th Avenue South and beyond to accommodate its tremendous growth.
A Showcase of Automotive Excellence
Each year, Cars on 5th brings together an impressive collection of exotic, classic, and luxury automobiles, with participants coming from a combination of local car clubs and national enthusiasts. Expect to see Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Maseratis, Corvettes, and more, lining the street in what has become a true outdoor automotive museum.
You’ll find the most exclusive cars of the event at the tented section of the baseball field at Cambier Park. The $200 ticket will give you access to these special cars, as well as catered food and live entertainment.
This year’s event is set to be even more extraordinary, with special appearances and events featuring legendary comedian and car enthusiast Jay Leno. Leno, known for his world-renowned car collection and passion for all things automotive, will bring added enthusiasm to an already popular event. His stand-up Charity Comedy Night starts Thursday, February 6 and features an opening show from the Ben Allen Band. He goes on to host The Ultimate Garage Tour Friday afternoon, where participants get to mingle with Leno and enjoy live music, food and beverages while participating in silent and live auctions.
Giving Back to the Community
While the gleaming supercars may be the main attraction, Cars on 5th is about more than just horsepower—it’s about giving back. The event serves as a major fundraiser for St. Matthew’s House, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals struggling with homelessness, hunger, and addiction recovery.
In 2019, the event raised an impressive $400,000 for the charity. However, as the event continued to expand, so did its impact—last year, Cars on 5th shattered records by raising $1.7 million, all of which went directly to supporting St. Matthew’s House programs and initiatives.
